You have the option to quickly skip through dialogue. This is useful in case you’ve already read it in other playthroughs and you just want to get to a certain point in the game.

Skip Settings

First, go to Settings and under the Skip section, you’ll find the following tick boxes:

• Unseen
  When this is ticked, and you click on the skip button in-game, the game will auto skip through text you haven't read yet as well as text you have read before. (This is a very fast setting and allows you to get through the game very quickly, but may miss out on things you haven't seen before).
• After Choices
  When this is ticked, and you click on the skip button in-game, the game will continue to auto skip after you make choices in game. When it's not ticked, it will only auto skip up to the decision point, but stop skipping after you've made a choice.
• Transitions
  When this is ticked, and you click on the skip button in-game, the game will not show you transitions such as fade-ins, shakiness or the credits at the end of the game.

Ticking all three of these at the same time will allow you to skip through the game very quickly if you need to get to a certain scene.

Skip Methods

There are 2 ways to skip through dialogue in the game:

1. Using the “Skip” button on the UI screen.
2. Holding down Ctrl/Command while playing.

Both methods skip through dialogue the same way. Ctrl/Command lets you skip as long as you’re holding it down. Clicking the “Skip” button just toggles skipping on until you hit a menu option.
